What a fun month

Hey guys, how is everyone? I hope you are all well! For the most part I know I have been quite silent this month and I apologize. I’ve been trying to focus on a lot of things and as of today (4/25/2020) it’s going to be changing.

With everything happening in the world, I am really and truly hoping everyone is safe and healthy. For the most part I am doing fine. Some of my health problems are giving me issues but it’s nothing I can’t handle right now. But I assure you all, as of right now it’s just my joints being a pain in my ass 🙂 Now, for the bigger news…

For those of you that don’t know, right now I am working for the GameStop in my town. We’ve been “open” for awhile and today will be the last day before my furlough begins. What this means for me is I’m getting an unpaid vacation for at least a month. This suddenly came about yesterday and was a bit of a shock. As it stands, we will be reopening sometimes soon. I think the biggest thing will be money but that’s not something you guys need to concern yourself with. 🙂

I’m going to take this time to reflect on a lot of things and take care of myself, my home and my family and friends. I’ve been having a steady job for most of my life and it’s going to be a weird shift to just suddenly stop with nothing to do. I just hope i don’t go crazy in the mean time. I’m a busy body who rather enjoys working (I’m weird I know haha) So I may be silent for a few days after today.

There was a DND Session yesterday so I have one of those post in the making but I’ve also been playing some new games so I can do those as well. But, this still goes back to, I will have a lot more free time to do things….

So what does this mean for you?

Quite a bit actually. I’m shifting my focus towards me. I have a few things that I need to take care of IRL before i shift focus to other things. I do have a few things planned.

I’ve began looking into starting a Patreon page so you can show your support when I am not streaming. I’m working on quite a few rewards for you guys and I hope they are worth while for you 🙂 I have some art I want to throw in as well as some custom pieces for different tiers to keep it interesting. I have a bit more tweaking to do on it which I will try to finish next week and get it up and running.

I have also reopened Fallen Wish Art for all of your custom icon, emotes and gif needs. I have been trying to work on my digital style and have been also planning on redoing my emotes to reflect on it. I still want to do work for you guys! So, please, let me know if you need anything down Translations also have several slots open as well so I’m there for your Japanese needs. I prefer written translations but I can do audio (I can’t voice act for shit tho just a warning)

I’ll be doing a lot more streaming. I’m going to try to spice up everything and do some cooking, art and other random streams to keep my sanity in check while I am with out my job for a bit. I think now is the time were i can focus on having fun and enjoy everything I do. Though I’ve shifted my focus back to WoW I think I want to add more games to the list. I’ll get a schedule written up here shortly to go over what days are what to give you guys an idea of what I will be doing. I’m going to try to stick with my sleep schedule so there may not be too many late night streams.

As always, I want to thank you all for your support. You keep me going and remind me to do what I love and it’s nice to have that support. You are all amazing humans and I love every one of you! With out you, none of this is possible! Keep rocking it!!

Session 6

So this is a few weeks to late, oops. We didn’t have a session last week since a few of us weren’t feeling good. We’re all doing much better and hopefully we will have a session tomorrow. It’s going to be hard not to type spoilers but I’m gonna sure try 🙂

So in this session, the group goes with Yuri to her castle. They’re greeted by her right hand and they are given time to rest before departing to the Shrine of the Cosmos. The group travel with Yuri to the shrine and they are greeted by a sleeping dragon and an awe struck Yuri. To the groups surprise. Yuri begged one of the young watchers to turn into dragon so they can see how pretty they are.

OOC Chat:
Liet: What color are they?
Me: Black.
Liet: Oh…so Acid breath…hmmm they’re also Evil aligned.
Me: *forgetting that bit of D&D lore* Maybe. You wont be too sure
Liet: you’re right…there’s always that chance but hmmmm

So, as they begin to leave, the group asks why they can’t ride one of the dragons to the city they’re supposed to go. What a fantastic question. An excited goddess runs back into the shrine and convinces a dragon to fly them outside the city. The travel takes a fraction of what it would have been.

The group, now in the city, go with Yuri’s plan. She will go in through the gates while the group goes into the sewers. They soon emerge in a store room and meet a bewildered Yuri in a main hall. The whole area is covered in blood. The stench of blood was heavy in the air. Being blind, Yuri can’t exactly find out what is happen to the group explains everything.

With a bit of understanding the group begins to search for the source of all of the blood and they find it. A large room torn apart full of royals, nobles and peasant fighting to the death. Dead bodies litter the grounds. A large, overweight man sits on the throne, cheering on the bloodbath. It’s not long before they’re noticed. The man stops the fight an invites them to the party.

The group declines but he’s very persistent about joining him. Eventually he gets annoyed and every single person except him and the group fall to the ground, dead. The fat man takes a step closer and one last time invites them to join the party and he’ll forget everything. In response Liet throws the man across the room back to his throne.

And with that the session ended. I have a lot in store for these guys and I can’t wait to tell you about it next time 🙂

Animal Crossing: New Horizon

I’m going to be honest in the start of this review. I haven’t really sat and played a REAL Animal Crossing game. I have kind of half assed played them and then I got tired of being yelled at by not showing up every day. This is what happened with Nintendogs too. So it’s not just this game. There’s something about this one though that really makes it something I want to play everyday. Whether it’s talking to people or spending bells. This one just feels better.

So let’s start off with the story. I mean it’s not a long one. Tom wants to try out Island life with you. Your goal is to make this island rock everyone’s socks off. Easy enough yea?? That’s it. Tom does go on to explain new things to the game….

Nook Miles are something new added to the game that’s an additional currency in the game. You get them for completing achievements or for jut doing everyday things like talking to villagers or fishing. These points can be used for a few things. New items, new clothes, Bells or for tickets to travel. The traveling is the fun part if you ask me. You travel to random islands where you can meet potential villiagers or new fruits. YOu can also get special fish and items as well by traveling around them.. Just make sure that you don’t leave anything you want to keep behind. Once you leave the island you cannot come back.

Crafting is a lot of fun in this game. you can learn many recipes through your villagers, the Nook Shopping and your friends. You can also shoot them from the sky or find them on your beach. I really wish you could craft multiple things at once, but holding down A speeds everything up and then you have to go through the dialog again. It’s a mixed feeling that’s for sure. But it’s not too bad honestly, just a little annoying.

With the game only being out for a few weeks, I haven’t had the chance to experience a lot of the holidays or seasonal changes. But so far they are pretty dynamic and spring with the cherry blossoms have been super pretty. Bunny day is here in a few days so I can’t wait for that one either. If the other holidays are like this one then I’m excited.
I really like the idea of a little world. It’s by itself but at the same time it’s not. Friends, villagers and you make it something special. The amount of time you put into this game is a lot and somehow, I feel like I can’t ever finish it. I fine more things I want to do, more places to explore. Everything. It’s so neat and just exciting.

Playing with friends is a lot more fun now. One thing that kind of gets me is you can’t swap bugs and fish with them so you just have to wish them luck if they want something you fished up. In my close group of friends we keep everyone up to date on what’s in our stores and our turnip prices so we can get things we like and make them sick bells!

Anything can come true in this game. You make your own style or just be whoever you want to be. There are costumes and clothes for almost anything thing you want. Like today I got some Togas because why not! Maybe I want to host a Toga party or eat a salad. Who knows! I don’t! There are so many silly things you can get but honestly, with being able to change everything about my character, I can change my looks with how I feel. If I want to be a bunny, I can. Geisha? Got it. Power Ranger? Hell to the yeah!! It’s endless. With those as well as custom designs you can be whatever you want to be!

I have nothing but praise for this game to be honest with you guys. Sure there are a few things that I might not like but they don’t effect the game that much. I can go on and one how I rather enjoy the fact I can change every aspect of my character whenever I want and have it be free. Or how I can fish or collect bugs all day and be happy. I can lose myself in this game and as quickly as I do, I can come back to the real world and go about my day.

Animal Crossing is a GOTY contender for me for 2020 as well as a 9/10 Bell rating. Everything is great about the game. I do wish there was a little more you can do with your friends and a little more you can give them. But I love this game and I don’t regret anything about it!!! 😀

March Madness

Oh man, this year has been something else if you ask me. Between all of the drama and disease it is kinda hard to find the time to relax and unwind. As you can tell by the absence that’s about where I am. I’ve been able to play one game so far, and I have several more coming out this month and it’s super hard to decide what I want to play Friday. I think Animal Crossing is going to win but all the new things they’re adding to DOOM it’s super tempting.

There hasn’t been too much going on with me truthfully. The big scare of the COVID-19 has been on the back of my mind, but that’s for another time. I’ve also been trying to focus on me more than anything and trying to get back on track with a new me and loving who I am. So far so good IMO. I haven’t really been doing much of anything.

Lack of time off has made it a little difficult to find time to stream and enjoy my free time as I have to focus on cleaning and chores and adulting, It super sucks but that’s alright haha.

DnD has been doing great! Everyone seems to really be enjoying the game so far and I’m having fun with it too. Now that the group is heading into the main storyline I can’t wait to see how it unfurls and becomes a super epic adventure. It’s really nice to see how a story you made is determined by a group of people and it’s always interesting to see how it’s coming along.

I also want to make sure that everyone knows that I do have art slots available for anything you need from portraits, icons gifs ect. I also have all of my translation slots open as well so if you need something made, let me know! I’ve been toying with adding a tutoring type deal to my lists for art as well as Japanese. So we’ll see how this goes. All in all it’s been a month so far. Hell, it’s been a year so far haha how crazy is that.

Well guys, I need to plan the rest of my week out so I can get some things done. We’ll see how that goes. I plan on streaming sometime this week so keep an eye out for that. I have also been trying to get a schedule going but that is a lot more harder than I thought it was going to be with my schedule at work and such but eventually I will have something figured out 😀

Session 5

When we last left off, the group was in the Witchy Woods on their way to kill the witch or so you’d think. As you remember from the last game, the group was doing the WoW quest for Abby Lewis, the little girl who wanted to find her friends to have her tea party with. The group, after some fun little hints ans clues and a lot of nose wiggling from yours truly, reunited the little girl with her toys. As they left, Abby game them pictures of her friends before she vanishes in the door way. From there the group gets lost in the woods.

They eventually came to a dead end with two Ravens sitting on a rock, and here they learned how much Miss Mary liked them. I had created such a nice poem for them, and I think it did too much of a good job getting them out of the woods.

Here it is:
Abby’s new friends we have quickly found
Miss Mary wants you to hear our sound.
Miss Mary says that the friends need to go
Or else she’ll put you Six feet below.
Miss Mary has plans for each one of you,
And trust us, this will be nothing new!
A fine purse out of you, a new boney servent of you.
The deer and the giant are not wanted here so go get shoo!

I guess that was enough for the group to be ike whoa nope we’re outta here. Because that’s exactly what they did. The idea to kill Miss Mary vanished as fast as the illusion to allow them to escape disappeared.

So, with that the group make it to the town and where Vinny has to roll another saving throw. Which they failed. Causing them to get to the next level of the plague. Poor thing 🙁 They manage to make it to a town where they get a doctor to look at them and they inform them this is something they haven’t seen in several years and the only true cure wqas a gods blessing. From there the Doctor informs them the gods that cured the people before was named Yuri. (oh no)
The group then calls up Yuri but her assistant answered and they began taking. he confirms it’s the same Yuri then asks why. They tell him that Vinny is super sick. He then asks, a very important question.
Fitz: Well did you guys go to her Shrine and get her blessing?
Vinny: I think so
Me: Nope. You guys bought the alcohol and wanted to go but instead you got super excited to leave the town you didn’t go. (I then showed them the notes I had made)
Vinny: Oh I guess we didn’t….How long do I have?
Fitz: Well It seems like about a week in a half or so. I suggest coming home and getting fixed, there’s things you need to do here.
The group then comes back home because it was made clear they were about a week and a half from the giant quest not including the time to kill them. They joked about letting Vinny die but they did end up coming back.
So the group meet up with Fitz who takes them into the war room where everyone has gathered. They see their boss seemingly able to see (this is important)

After the warlords disperse, Yuri greets the group as her eyes go from Jade to white and she’s unable to see again. They ask her what was going on ans she explained how she was blinded by a god trying to seek her powers after brother passed away. It was a common thing among gods. Innocent right?
DM Mistake 3: I began to explain the process to the group and two of them started to get an idea…

Yuri: So during a fight for my god powers he threw poison at me and it caused me to lose my sight,
Liet: So gods can fight other gods for their powers?
Yuri: Yes, they can.
Liet: Can mortals do it?
Yuri: None have succeeded why?
Liet: But it’s possible?
Yuri: I mean….I don’t know.
Liet to Kit: We should try to Kill Yuri and gain her powers
Kit: *nods*
Me: oh come on guys……haha….don’t.
Liet: What do you think of this type of barbarian with htis race?
Me: are you serious?
Liet: I mean if I die….I’d want to reroll.
Me: You’re serious

And that’s where the session ended for the most part. The group walked and talked and were told they are going to Yuri’s home country and castle to see what’s going on. There’s a lot of rumors out there so they need to prepare.

Will the group succeed in the new land? Will they kill their boss? Find out next session!

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX

I have always had a love hate relationship with Mystery Dungeon. I have always found that if its not a cannon Pokemon then it wasn’t a real game. I was stupid back then. But that was then me, the new me is really open to this game!

So, lets get started with how the game starts. You are asked to take a personality test to see what Pokemon is best suited for you. If you don’t like result you can totally switch it up. I’m guilty. I didn’t feel like I would make a good Totodile… If you know me then you know I picked Eevee. I am so ashamed lol. I also chose Cubone as my partner and I don’t regret that at all.

The art style is something different. I wasn’t entirely sure how I was going to like the water color paper craft type graphics that honestly made the game for me. It’s really hrd to describe. I normally don’t like shading like that and prefer games that are semi recitalist ya know? But i feel like it helped keeping me emerged in the game and was able to focus longer on what I was doing and I kind of felt like I was a Pokemon. It’s weird and I can’t really describe how it made me feel but I really liked it.

The story line seems to be similar to the other games I have played. You’re a human now turned Pokemon and you and your partner have sworn to save any Pokemon in need by dungeon crawling and rescuing Pokemon. In the end though, what do you decide? Stay a Pokemon or go back to your human self?

The combat it pretty straightforward. It’s a semi turn based combat system with roaming enemies and just hitting the A button and have it alternate between the enemy Pokemon, you and your partner. There are several moves you can learn as well as some HM and TMs you can purchase with Pokedollars and build you up to be a bad ass.

Truthfully, I’m down for the dungeons changing. It reminds me of Diablo 3. You hve a set layout but it varies greatly depending on what you’re running. So you can keep running the one map, but it will always be different and worth it, You never know what you’re going to find or who you’re going to come across. Will the quest be on the first level? Last level? Who knows until you do it!

All in all, I have lost several hours to this game and I loved every minute I played of it. I have been able to sell it to several friends who were on the edge and I’m glad that I was able to share that experience with them. This is definitely a game that I recommend to play, if you’re on the fence. There should be a demo (as of the time of this pot) of it on the Nintendo Eshop. So give it a go!

This game totally get’s a 9/10 from me! I loved the game and it was almost perfect for me. I love the art, the gameplay and the story. It’s super cute and I totally think you all should check it out!

First few sessions

So I know this is going to include the first few sessions. Before the story gets deeper I felt it would be best to include the first few sessions before each get their own. Now, here’s the tale of Vinny the Snakeborn Gunslinger, Meh the Obitu Warrior, Kit the Tiefling Rogue and Liet the Half Giant Monk. Vinny and Meh have been ruled the leaders of the group.

Session 1: Boy this one started really nice. I gave the group several letters that explained that whey were wanted and they had to follow clues to find the right person to talk to. Now, the group was able to narrow down what race they were looking for but the location wasn’t right. I was so confused, I had worked everything out to the key and they should have been able to find it. I was so wrong. What I didn’t realize, I had wrote out one of the clue incorrectly and it somehow managed to work haha. Not sure what is going on. The was about it. The big bad DM messed it up haha With that being said, the group still figured out where they needed to go after they head to the wrong spot.
From there, the group heads to meet with their boss who explains what they are to be doings, and that was it. They are then given their first mission when they wake up the next day.

Session 2: Now this one is a lot of fun. The group is given their first mission. Discover the truth behind the false princess. Pretty good idea. The group was informed about bandits in the area and to be careful. The group appears next to a town where a distraught mans comes up to them begging them to find his daughter. Meh agrees to help the man and then just leaves town. Like peace boiiii.

As the group leaves town, they come across a strange encampment with a fairly nice number of armored men. The conversation went like this.

Armored guy: Hey, what brings you guys out here?
Meh: Um, we’re trying to find the Kinstone(these are stones used for teleportation)
Armored guy: Oh well it’s back that way.
Meh: I heard there were goblins in the area.
AG: Goblins? What?
Meh: Oh shit sorry Bandits! Well we need to go now bye!
And then the group keeps going down the road like they don’t even care. After a few days they reach the false princess.

Session 3: The group comes back and sees one of the Warlords who tell them that the bandits are right outside of the town they came in. They then go into the abandoned town and start to search the area before learning the town isn’t vacant. From there they manage to convince they town to help out the plague survivors and such. Noting too exciting happened this one. When they come back, I commit DM Mistake 2. I gave them so much money. I totally wasn’t thinking realistically and was like ‘here’s several thousand gold enjoy it. Well shit.

Session 4: This day, the group set off to search the guilds. At this point I panic. I didn’t come up with guild names so I just make up two. Twin Breakers and Shadowell. The group thinks Shadowell is awesome so they go to see what quests they have to offer for the most gold. I realized how much I messed up so I said “ok you can take on a succubus for 500g. They group realized that they had no magic users so they decided to go to the Twinbreakers. They gave them a job to kill a giant for 1000g and they deemed it more suited for their skills. So they ask their boss for a horse and cart and head off on their way.

Session 5: So this was a fun session. The group decided to take the shortcut through the Witchy Woods to get to their target faster. During their trip (2 weeks ingame btw) they get snucked up on by a group of Kobolds. I was like “This is gonna be cute innocent fun and the’ll just scare them off.” How wrong was I that day. Instead of just being nice people they slaughter all but one of the Kobolds. WhenI say slaughter I legit mean slaughter. They were like destroyed, dismembered and beheaded. Those poor Kobolds 🙁

The group finally made it to the Witchy Woods and they come across the village that was there before the witch took over. They are greeted by a little girl. Now, if you play Alliance on WoW, you can feel the groups pain in this.
Me: So this little girl seems super happy to see new people and she wants your help.
Meh: With what?
Me: She wants you to help her find her friends since they’re late for a tea party.
Liet/Kit: *sighs loudly*
Liet: No, I am not doing this you know how many times I’ve had to do this in WoW?
Kit: Right? Ughhhhh
Me: hehe I couldn’t resist you were in Witchy Woods!
Vinny/Meh: have no idea what’s going on
Liet then begins to explain the quest to the two. Hahaha Oh boy.

Session six is tomorrow, I can’t wait to see what we do but I will totally be sharing it with all of you!!!

Valentine’s Day Post!

So hey guys what’s up! Sorry It’s been awhile haha there’s been a lot going on here! I’ve been super busy with work ugh and the sorting out MTG cards. I finally finished the black cards, just 8 more totes to go haha.

So, I have taken a lot of thought in this, and I have decided to add a new post type called D&D Adventures! The posts will be short stories about my groups D&D sessions I think you guys will enjoy them as much as we do.

That’s honestly it haha there’s not much more going on in my life right now I will be posting my streaming schedule here Monday.

With that being said I hope you all have an amazing Valentine’s day even if it’s just you! Do what makes you the most happy 🙂

Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE

So hi guys I know its been while, so whats new?? I’ll blog abut it later for you guys heh.

So,this was one of two games that came out on my birthday this year and it was super hard to pick one. Truthfully it came down to the fact I was going to be very busy for awhile and I needed a game I could take with me wherever I went but don’t worry, I’ll play Kakarot here next! With that being said, let’s get this started!!!

I am going to start this off by saying that I love this series of games, and it’s developers. With the announcement of Byleth being in Super Smash, it made me even more excited for this. Now I know what you’re probably thinking. But Lily, I am so tired of Fire Emblem characters being in Super Smash, I want more thing. to that I say “meh….” Whatever though it’s time for the review.

I wasn’t lucky enough to play this game on the Wii U when it came up. I owned one but at the time I wasn’t able to play it. So the chance i get to play it now was a really exciting moment for me. I am a huge fan of Atlus and I have been for several years. So I already knew I was going to like this game. There were several things that really stood out to me.

You are, like in most JRPG, a highschool student out to help your friend find her sister. With her help and the help of interesting ghost type characters that are based on the Fire Emblem series. The game has a real focus on modern day Japan and the rich lore behind the ghosts that help you in battle.

I loved the combat in the game. the different moves you can learn and how some moves are stronger of weaker on certain mobs was a real plus. I really enjoy games that do stuff like this and it made combat more fun. When you exploited a weakness, your partner in fight has a chance to attack on thier own starting a session and taking out the enemy.

Outside of combat, the story line was a little light and fluffy. As you go on through the story line you find out there’s a few styles of quests that you can do with your friends. You will watch them turn into the stars you knew they could be. That’s kind of it. It’s easy to say that this game is mostly about combat. I can’t really complain though, but it would have been nicer to have a little more than fluff in between fights.

All in all, I had a lot of fun playing the game. I liked the extra content they released for the Wii U and that I was able to play it. Though I was sad at the fluff story, it didn’t take me out of the game. I still played it and I still recommend it for anyone who is into Atlus.

I think a nice 8/10 would be great for the game. I really liked it. Want to play it? Check out your nearest game retailer or go to the Switch Website and purchase it.

Man where has time gone? Like seriously. Its just so amazing how fast this year went. There was just so much that happened, I don’t know what to even recap for the year with regards to me.

The major thing that would be the thing to talk about would be the rebranding that happened earlier this year. I went from Unicornmuffin Games to UnicornMuffin TV. With the real focus being on becoming a streamer with multiple talents, I felt that this was the right direction to go. With getting my laptop fixed and a new touchscreen tablet PC I can put my plan into motion going into 2020. It has been a great start being UnicornMuffin Games but I just felt it was the right time to move on to more things and find my joy in livestreaming again.

Next year, I plan on keeping up with my schedule and keeping with doing what will make me happy. Being happy while streaming is something that is very important to me. When I’m not happy, I do find it very hard to keep up with everything and just want to give up. I am going to note, with the new changes to YouTube, I am not entirely sure what I’m going to do on that platform. Besides trying to sate my potty mouth, I feel like my content follows the rules but only time will tell. I’ll be posting my new stream schedules weekly on Discord, Mixer and Twitch!

This year we also got to welcome a new furry animal into the house after the passing of Saki. Flower has been such a great addition to our house and I am so happy to have her. Though I miss Saki terribly, I know that Flower won’t replace her by any means. I’ve been working on making everyone in the family a emote. Right now the Mochi one is only available on discord. I’m going to be working on adding some more to Twitch and just have my furry family up there.

This year also gave me the honor of being an auntie to such an amazingly cute baby 🙂 My best friend in the whole world and my sister from another mister had a healthy baby boy in February. I’m hoping to be able to see him in February 2020 if all goes well. Every time I tried to this year, my knee didn’t want to stay together and fell apart a few days before the trip 🙁 I can’t wait to see him and it will surely be a highlight for 2020 🙂

This year has had so many ups and downs it’s very bitter sweet to have it end. Though I’m excited to see what next year and turning 30 will bring me, it’s kind of sad to let go of all of the happiness this year has brought. There were many tears shed, but there were also as many laughs. So, 2019, you may have sucked so much but you also made me happy.

All in all guys, I hope 2020 is the year for you. May it bring you so much happiness and laughter and your dreams come true.
