Hey everyone, it’s your GM Lily here. 2022 has been a tough year for me. I’ve had to take a break from social media for UMTV and focus on my health. So, that’s pretty much what this is about.

So, we found out that I have Spina Bifida Occulta. Essentially I have gaps in my spine, but my spinal cord, for the most part, is intact and not pushing out of my spine. We’ve been working on getting my pain under control. I know I have mentioned several times before about my back hurting and now we finally know why! We are currently checking to see if I have Spina Bifida in my neck as well…which brings me up to the next thing.

At the beginning of June, I was rushed to the ER with pain and symptoms mimicking a heart attack and a stroke. I was having a headache and was very disorientated most of the time I was there. I don’t remember a lot of what happened but it lead to me getting an MRI of my brain. First, I have one 😀 So we can mark that as a big ol’ yes! It was discovered that I had extra spinal fluid in my skull and it had started to apply pressure on my brain mimicking a tumor. On top of this, one of my optic nerves was swollen. At this point I was told we need to try to get this fixed before I go blind.

So right now, that’s where we are. Today, I had another MRI to check my neck and brain stem to see if I have Spina Bifida and from there we are looking into a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) to see how bad the fluid in my brain is and if I need to go on medication.

I am very sorry I’ve gone dark on you guys. It was never my intention to disappear. Since we have answers and some treatment, I feel like I am able to be around more and stream and what not. But this is where the good news starts!

I do plan on streaming once more during the day. I will try to keep to my schedule I have but I do have to do a couple of updates on it as I am going to do this around my work schedule! I’m also going to be posting a lot more on FB, Discord, Instagram and Tiktok!

The end of 2020

Man, has this been a year or what? Everything going on and what not has really worn me out. But I’m sure you’re wondering what has been going on? I haven’t been streaming, posting or much of anything the past few months. I’m very sorry. I can assure you that I have a good reason 🙂 With out any more delay here we go!

2020 has been rough on a lot of us, with everything going on it was a little hard for me to stay positive and with my town shutting down it was harder to see the bright side. But, that was last year. This year I have some big things to talk about, and I hope you get excited for them as well!!!

To start, I have offically decided that I will be a WoW Streamer. So a majority of my streams will be in World of Warcraft. But don’t worry! I will throw in some other games randomly, so check my weekly schedule! I will try to keep it up to date. I also added a basic schedule that gives you an idea of what my streamss will be like going forward. I’m so excited to get this going!

I also want to add, that I have also decided to call my followers guildmates, or guildies for short. Subscribers will be my Hardcore raiders and so forth. I am also going to be redoing some badges to reflect this status as well so look forward to all of that madness!

I am also going to keep up with my blogging, reviews and everything else. I still have a back log of reviews from last year I need to get out so I will be doing my best to do so in a timely fashion! This does bring up another point that I wanted to talk about and go into why they were delayed.

After one of my last blog posts, I had started to fall ill. Towards the end of December I had a covid scare where I had lost my ability to taste and smell for several weeks on top of feeling like total garbage. There wasn’t a lot I could have done during this time but I will do my best to make up for it this year! Trust me 😀

There is a lot going on and I swear, this year is just trying to kill me. Or at least make sure that I am aware of how it’s treating everyone haha.

2020 has been a year for us all, hasn’t it? Between new health problems and everything it’s hard to get everything going and keep it going… I have fallen behind on a lot of things and it’s not on purpose.

I’ve got a lot more going on in the health field and I has been making things a little more difficult on me. It’s nothing I can’t make it through so that’s what you guys should worry about. The time I can’t fight and be me.

I am aware that I have fallen behind on reviews and I apologize. It has been a few months since I’ve written anything. I have been more active on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter though so I’m keeping some promises I made at the start of the year hehe.

I have still quite a few things to work on. I have over 10+ reviews I’m going to work on and hopefully more fun games come out so I can keep up with it. I’ve found quite a few fun games to keep myself occupied while I”m at home trying to feel better. I’m going to try to review the games in the order they came out so it has some sort of order haha but don’t get mad if I don’t ;P

I’m attempting to make sure they post every Tuesday like usual so you guys know when to check back! I am also going to make sure the newsletter is working so you guys never miss a moment for UnicornMuffinTV 😀 There’s a lot that’s going to be happening in the next few weeks so hopefully…I can do this heh

What a fun month

Hey guys, how is everyone? I hope you are all well! For the most part I know I have been quite silent this month and I apologize. I’ve been trying to focus on a lot of things and as of today (4/25/2020) it’s going to be changing.

With everything happening in the world, I am really and truly hoping everyone is safe and healthy. For the most part I am doing fine. Some of my health problems are giving me issues but it’s nothing I can’t handle right now. But I assure you all, as of right now it’s just my joints being a pain in my ass 🙂 Now, for the bigger news…

For those of you that don’t know, right now I am working for the GameStop in my town. We’ve been “open” for awhile and today will be the last day before my furlough begins. What this means for me is I’m getting an unpaid vacation for at least a month. This suddenly came about yesterday and was a bit of a shock. As it stands, we will be reopening sometimes soon. I think the biggest thing will be money but that’s not something you guys need to concern yourself with. 🙂

I’m going to take this time to reflect on a lot of things and take care of myself, my home and my family and friends. I’ve been having a steady job for most of my life and it’s going to be a weird shift to just suddenly stop with nothing to do. I just hope i don’t go crazy in the mean time. I’m a busy body who rather enjoys working (I’m weird I know haha) So I may be silent for a few days after today.

There was a DND Session yesterday so I have one of those post in the making but I’ve also been playing some new games so I can do those as well. But, this still goes back to, I will have a lot more free time to do things….

So what does this mean for you?

Quite a bit actually. I’m shifting my focus towards me. I have a few things that I need to take care of IRL before i shift focus to other things. I do have a few things planned.

I’ve began looking into starting a Patreon page so you can show your support when I am not streaming. I’m working on quite a few rewards for you guys and I hope they are worth while for you 🙂 I have some art I want to throw in as well as some custom pieces for different tiers to keep it interesting. I have a bit more tweaking to do on it which I will try to finish next week and get it up and running.

I have also reopened Fallen Wish Art for all of your custom icon, emotes and gif needs. I have been trying to work on my digital style and have been also planning on redoing my emotes to reflect on it. I still want to do work for you guys! So, please, let me know if you need anything down Translations also have several slots open as well so I’m there for your Japanese needs. I prefer written translations but I can do audio (I can’t voice act for shit tho just a warning)

I’ll be doing a lot more streaming. I’m going to try to spice up everything and do some cooking, art and other random streams to keep my sanity in check while I am with out my job for a bit. I think now is the time were i can focus on having fun and enjoy everything I do. Though I’ve shifted my focus back to WoW I think I want to add more games to the list. I’ll get a schedule written up here shortly to go over what days are what to give you guys an idea of what I will be doing. I’m going to try to stick with my sleep schedule so there may not be too many late night streams.

As always, I want to thank you all for your support. You keep me going and remind me to do what I love and it’s nice to have that support. You are all amazing humans and I love every one of you! With out you, none of this is possible! Keep rocking it!!

March Madness

Oh man, this year has been something else if you ask me. Between all of the drama and disease it is kinda hard to find the time to relax and unwind. As you can tell by the absence that’s about where I am. I’ve been able to play one game so far, and I have several more coming out this month and it’s super hard to decide what I want to play Friday. I think Animal Crossing is going to win but all the new things they’re adding to DOOM it’s super tempting.

There hasn’t been too much going on with me truthfully. The big scare of the COVID-19 has been on the back of my mind, but that’s for another time. I’ve also been trying to focus on me more than anything and trying to get back on track with a new me and loving who I am. So far so good IMO. I haven’t really been doing much of anything.

Lack of time off has made it a little difficult to find time to stream and enjoy my free time as I have to focus on cleaning and chores and adulting, It super sucks but that’s alright haha.

DnD has been doing great! Everyone seems to really be enjoying the game so far and I’m having fun with it too. Now that the group is heading into the main storyline I can’t wait to see how it unfurls and becomes a super epic adventure. It’s really nice to see how a story you made is determined by a group of people and it’s always interesting to see how it’s coming along.

I also want to make sure that everyone knows that I do have art slots available for anything you need from portraits, icons gifs ect. I also have all of my translation slots open as well so if you need something made, let me know! I’ve been toying with adding a tutoring type deal to my lists for art as well as Japanese. So we’ll see how this goes. All in all it’s been a month so far. Hell, it’s been a year so far haha how crazy is that.

Well guys, I need to plan the rest of my week out so I can get some things done. We’ll see how that goes. I plan on streaming sometime this week so keep an eye out for that. I have also been trying to get a schedule going but that is a lot more harder than I thought it was going to be with my schedule at work and such but eventually I will have something figured out 😀

So hey guys what’s up! Sorry It’s been awhile haha there’s been a lot going on here! I’ve been super busy with work ugh and the sorting out MTG cards. I finally finished the black cards, just 8 more totes to go haha.

So, I have taken a lot of thought in this, and I have decided to add a new post type called D&D Adventures! The posts will be short stories about my groups D&D sessions I think you guys will enjoy them as much as we do.

That’s honestly it haha there’s not much more going on in my life right now I will be posting my streaming schedule here Monday.

With that being said I hope you all have an amazing Valentine’s day even if it’s just you! Do what makes you the most happy 🙂

Man where has time gone? Like seriously. Its just so amazing how fast this year went. There was just so much that happened, I don’t know what to even recap for the year with regards to me.

The major thing that would be the thing to talk about would be the rebranding that happened earlier this year. I went from Unicornmuffin Games to UnicornMuffin TV. With the real focus being on becoming a streamer with multiple talents, I felt that this was the right direction to go. With getting my laptop fixed and a new touchscreen tablet PC I can put my plan into motion going into 2020. It has been a great start being UnicornMuffin Games but I just felt it was the right time to move on to more things and find my joy in livestreaming again.

Next year, I plan on keeping up with my schedule and keeping with doing what will make me happy. Being happy while streaming is something that is very important to me. When I’m not happy, I do find it very hard to keep up with everything and just want to give up. I am going to note, with the new changes to YouTube, I am not entirely sure what I’m going to do on that platform. Besides trying to sate my potty mouth, I feel like my content follows the rules but only time will tell. I’ll be posting my new stream schedules weekly on Discord, Mixer and Twitch!

This year we also got to welcome a new furry animal into the house after the passing of Saki. Flower has been such a great addition to our house and I am so happy to have her. Though I miss Saki terribly, I know that Flower won’t replace her by any means. I’ve been working on making everyone in the family a emote. Right now the Mochi one is only available on discord. I’m going to be working on adding some more to Twitch and just have my furry family up there.

This year also gave me the honor of being an auntie to such an amazingly cute baby 🙂 My best friend in the whole world and my sister from another mister had a healthy baby boy in February. I’m hoping to be able to see him in February 2020 if all goes well. Every time I tried to this year, my knee didn’t want to stay together and fell apart a few days before the trip 🙁 I can’t wait to see him and it will surely be a highlight for 2020 🙂

This year has had so many ups and downs it’s very bitter sweet to have it end. Though I’m excited to see what next year and turning 30 will bring me, it’s kind of sad to let go of all of the happiness this year has brought. There were many tears shed, but there were also as many laughs. So, 2019, you may have sucked so much but you also made me happy.

All in all guys, I hope 2020 is the year for you. May it bring you so much happiness and laughter and your dreams come true.

Hey all! It’s finally November! I am still in awe about how fast this year has passed. I will say tho, that 2019 has been one of the fastest years I have ever seen. Not that I’m complaining at all, but it’s still neat.

So, I’m sure you have all noticed that I kind of disappeared. I can assure you that I didn’t mean for it. To be honest with you guys, the construction on my house started earlier than we thought, and when I would try to do something with the internet, they accidentally cut it. Haha. It was kind of funny to me, but I took the time to catch up on my book and a few other things.

The construction finally ended at the end of October, the real task now is to put my house back together. It is coming along nicely and we got to rearrange bits and pieces of the house too which is amazing. I’m very excited and I think this is going to be a great start to 2020. Until the house is back to normal, I’m not going to have a set stream schedule. I’m going to try to stream tomorrow, the 4th, but I don’t feel comfortable committing to that yet. I still have a few things to catch up on with redoing my house, but I do believe it wont take much longer and I can get a stream schedule back up and running, and know what games I want to play.

I also have some pretty exciting news that also interferes with my time is I came into a large collection of Magic Cards that I am in the process of cataloging and arranging to make it easier to sell them. I wish I was lying when I said I think I bit off a little more than I can chew, but I also really like challenges like this! I can’t wait to finish this and get it all up and running. I’m thinking about doing business cards (hehe I’m silly I know but it would be for this too!!) but we’ll have to see what is going on.

There is still a lot that i need to get done, like I said before. I have a few reviews in the writing right now that I need to finish before I can publish them, but I haven’t forgotten about them. There has just been a lot going on and it’s made it a little harder to keep up with things.
