South Park: Fractured but Whole

It feels like I’ve been waiting three years for this amazing sequel to join my life and give me hope great offensive games are still out there. I mean, not that I got old of running around as the King and farting on everyone and being a master of everything. But I’ve been waiting for this game for quite a long time and I’m happy to have it.

I don’t really want to get into too much plot details because I don’t want to spoil this masterpiece for you guys, but I do have to talk about some bits. But I do have to talk about some bits, do bear with me.

Cats have gone missing in the town with ample parking day or night and it’s up to Coon and Friends to find the missing cats and defeat Chaos in the process, but you aren’t invited to play.  šŸ™ But what is the King to do? Crash the super hero party, duh.

You start off getting your super powers, at the time there are three to choose from. I went the Blaster Route which seemed to hit quite well but you also have Speedster and Brutalist. Each class has it’s own perks like the Speedster can get two moves while the Brutalist can bash your face in. Each class from then on just adds to the excitement that is the combat system.

As you progress through the story you unlock more and more classes which give you quite a bit of customization when it comes to Who are you Douchebag? Who are you really? The classes range from close combat to Ranged with heals. I’m a tank/Ranged DPS Personally so I went with the ranged healing classes I could find. I rather enjoy kicking butt at a safe distance and then healing any damage I, or my group takes.

Did I say excitement? I really do mean that. Sometimes though, I will admit, it got very repetitive and when more enemies jump into the fight I did get frustrated but all in all I rather enjoy this combat system. Each character and NPC brings chaos lava and macaroni Star of Davids to the fight to aid them in the fierce battles a head.  To go into the combat more….let’s start with the battlefield. It’s a grid based system much like you would see when you are playing a table top game. Each player has a set amount of moves and their attacks have a certain range. For those “casting” attacks, the areas are marked on the field so you can easily avoid them or cause some friendly fire šŸ˜‰ Healing in this game is also a lot more fun and almost every class has some sort of heal or can use all the items to heal you or a friend. The best part is YOU control your team!

The NPC’s in the battle also act like they are being controlled by a human, scrolling through all their attacks and find the perfect one to destroy you with….or at least try. Bravo guys! This was most def a very imersive system!

The last thing I want to comment on combat wise were the ultimate.  During combat, you have the option after every enemy hitting you, you hit a button and gather power for an ultimate that any of your party can use. One can be used for a major DPS attack, a giant heal or a cute Guinea pig in  Pirates hate. You decide!!! This made me pay attention a little more in combat phases, though sometimes I would drift off.

So let’s get back to the story. Like the last game, there are a bunch of side quests you can take to help  get you into the game more as well as enhance it. I rather enjoyed all of the little things like finding the drug lords and collecting all the Yaoi (I just wish there was a gallery for the pictures, some of them were too cute.

The mini game were a lot of fun as well, mastering the toilets and doing some fancy Fartkour really made this a SP game if you ask me. The crude humor is here to stay and it’s nice to see that all of my neighbors are their usual selves and nothing ‘s changed in the 3 days (years?) since the installment. I really enjoy this game, though I’m not sure if there’s replay value. I’d love to toy around with all the classes and everything but we’ll have to see.

My only real complaint about this game is the fact that there is a season pass. I get it, this is the direction that video game companies are headed and frankly, I find it distasteful. Now you’re probably saying to yourself…SELF, I know she plays WoW. They release stuff for that you have to pay a lot of money for. And you’re right, reader I do. But when in my honest opinion. If it’s a MMO, I’m fine with paying to expansions ect. But if the game has 0 online interaction, why would I need to buy a season pass? There’s no point? I don’t know, but this grinds me gears.

Give me back the days where when you buy a game it was the full game not the “Full” game plus season passes and micro-transactions out the asshole..

But enough standing on my soap box, I’ll save that for my blog.

My poor Fractured butthole enjoyed the time I played, and I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun way to kill some time while you’re waiting for Assassin’s Creed or CoD WW2. This and Shadow of War are good fillers for the next round of games.

Dispite my issue with the season pass, this game get’s a 9/20 Yaoi. I really enjoyed this game but I ended up making an active effort to avoid combat due to the fact it got boring when you did it very often. I loved the story, the characters and just the over all view of this game.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

If you’ve played a Mario Kart game, then you know what it’s all about. Pick your favorite character and race against your friends, mortal enemies, or NPC’s to earn point to upgrade and just have plain bragging right. So, what makes this game so fancy? It’s on the Switch, it’s got everything unlocked, and Tanooki Mario is a jerk. A huge JERK! I mean come on! How Dare you get Red and Blue shells! What a butthole…..

So the major thing that I wanted to type about this game, is everything is unlocked by racing. Everything is unlockable through game play so there’s no need to purchase anything extra to enjoy your game, and customize what you can. I will say though, I find it a little easier to use on the Switch, than the Wii U, and easier on my hands than the Wii and the N64..SNES….. Not that I’m dating myself or anything. I’m not old…..I just happen to have flashbacks to the original Rainbow road….*shudders* So, yeah….

The AI are, rather vicious…and I LOVE it! I mean, besides screaming profanity and considering throwing something at Tanooki Mario I realize that the AI knows what to do with the cheap tricks and dumb antics and I mean COME ON! How did they get so good? The Shells? Bombs? PEELS?! How evil…so very very evil….Hissssssss

So, is there anything bad to this game? I mean if you don’t like losing, racing, Mario, Karts, and the number 8 or word Deluxe. Then yes. Yes you will have a bad time. I’m sorry. But if none of that does anything, then fantastic! I have the game for you! Even with the tiny wheels and all šŸ˜€ And I mean TINY! So cute šŸ˜€

I do want to make it known, they did add a fancy feature to help the newer players. It’s like a Drive assist to help you not well, fall off Painful, I mean Rainbow Road, or into sand or anything bad. I mean, when I’m looking to just have a good time and secretly wish evil things to Tanooki Mario, I like to keep it on when I just want to relax. I mean, it’s possible in Mario Kart……Right?

All in all, it’s the Mario Kart from the Wii U just on a tiny, portable system. I’ve been a huge fan of this series since I was a kid, and I mean there’s not much you can do to mess up a MK game, at least that’s how I feel!

This game get 9/10 Blue Shells. šŸ˜€ As angry as I get, I love this game, and so far it’s a great hold over for Super Mario Odyssey šŸ˜€

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Imagine a world where you were asleep for a hundred years or so, only to wake up to find out the world isn’t what it used to be and Ganon is back at it being a bag guy! But what can you do? The answer? Whatever you want. The world belongs to you!

Welcome to the open world that is Breath of the Wild, a facilitating yet beautiful new entry in the LoZ series as well as a launch title for the New Nintendo Switch. With this game being as massive as well as all the hype, I will admit, this may be one of my favorite games of the year. Here’s why!

The graphics are something that I’ve been before, but seeing it for this game just made it something special. I’m not a gigantic fan of the cell shade type deal, but something about this drew me to it and I can’t really place why. Maybe it is the fan girl in me or maybe it’s something more. It’s hard to say. The graphics were so well constructed and just in it’s own original beauty, it’s hard to think of anything bad to say.

The creatures, people and bosses are beautiful and unique to the LoZ world. Each thing in the world brought something unique to the table whether it was a weapon, or a piece of food. Everything did something in this game and had some use. I don’t think I’ve killed anything and never had something I couldn’t use drop. I always had use for something, unless I couldn’t carry any more weapons, but that was ok šŸ˜€

So this brings up something else, there is durability loss in this game, and to me it’s a big weird, but at the same time I kind of like it. Durability is different game to game. Sometimes items are just unusable until you repair them, or sometimes they just disappear into oblivion. In BoW, you literally have to carry multiple weapons, shields and armor pieces with you at all times because once the item drops, you lose it forever. There’s no repair function in the game, and I find that a bit odd. I mean, there are some tricks that can “repair” them or you can find the unbreakable weapons, but I just find it weird. I literally can’t think of anything that doesn’t let you repair.

Combat is a lot of fun in this game, and they let you go anywhere you want, whenever you want. If you want to do the boss fight, then go. Fight him to your hearts content! May Zelda bless you…..like really. You’ll probably die a few times but where there’s a will there’s a way!   There’s no skills to really level up in the game, but you do unlock spells to help you out through trials and what not. There’s weapons you can steal from other creatures or find throughout the areas. But the biggest thing is there’s open combat. You can fight whatever you want, when you want and how you want.  My favorite part is you can literally stealthily kill your foes by sneaking into their camp and throwing a bomb, or shooting a fire arrow and stuff like that. The possibilities are endless!

The storyline is great as well. With it being an open world you have the typical Hero/Villain, Save the Princess type deal, but it goes a little deeper than that.  I’m aware the game has been out for awhile, but I also know there’s many people who have yet to play it, so I’m keeping it at that. I don’t want to spoil anything for you guys.

I really enjoyed the game, just like I enjoy my switch. I’m very happy with it and can’t wait to see if anything else happens in Hyrule.
I give LoZ BoW 9/10 rupees. I love this game and it’s do what you want whenever attitude. The fact that it’s gorgeous, creative and very inclusive make it a def. top 10 for 2017.  But there is still more to come am I right? Half way through the year we got this!!

The Nintendo Switch

So hi. It’s been awhile. In case you forgot, I am Lily. The amazing UnicornMuffin. Your awesome guide to the Gaming world and avid chinchilla lover.  So, first, I’ve been working a lot more and I am super sorry about it.  So, long story short someone quit which opened up more hours, and the original plan was to write reviews at work….but then ya know of course the works wifi will block it haha….Haha….ha….Well, look forward to this months blog that’s in the works right now too so let’s get this started!!!!

With all the hype around the Wii U a few years back, and the amount of pure disappointment I felt when I finally got the console,  I was actually a little skeptical about this system. I didn’t want to drop the money on a system I’d regret. But I will say, so far this is a pretty neat system.

The initial launch was a little rough for me. The only game I was interested was Zelda, like a lot of people heh. The down side of this was, I didn’t want to get burned out on the game while I waited for the all mighty Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to be released.  So I took the game real slow.  I couldn’t bear the thought of myself getting BORED with a game and be forced to watch this beautiful system collect chinchilla dust as I wait for new games to be released.

The concept of this system is actually pretty freaking neat. I like that I can play full HD games on the go. Sure, there’s the DS, Vita PSP ect ect, but you can’t just tear apart your system and be like ‘Here we go here’s part of my system let’s play”  I, for one, really enjoy the idea of dismantling my controller so I can play with a friend. I mean what’s better than enjoying a game with your bestie? Nothing. This brings me back to my couch CoOp days, ya know?

So why pick a switch over another console? Obiviously the exclusives.  Yeah, you can play Breath of the Wild and a few other games on the Wii U, but at the same time if something comes up and you can’t be home, then you really wont be able to play them. The idea of a full scale console with the option to become a mobile device is inticing.

Would I recomend the switch? So far, maybe. If you are totally into the games that are already out, then this is the perfect match for you! The greatness that ou have been waiting for is avaiable when you are ready and they’re in stock!

If you want a system that has more games, roll with a 3DS or something like that. That way you have a wider selection of games, and you can take it where you go. šŸ™‚

It’s all about you!

All in all, I really enjoy this console. I love my switch and the games I have for it. I like that I can pick up a game when I’m on break or just super bored in the bathroom.

All in all, I say this is a great system, but it might not be for everyone….right NOW. With only a few titles out for it. It’s going to be hard to say “this is a must buy for everyone”  I do suggest, if you know someone who has one, ask to see it and play with it a little and gage whether it’s the system for you!

I give this fancy system 7/10 Joy-Cons.

I wish there were way more games out for it then what there currently is. I really enjoy the system but I kind of feel myself going back to my 3ds due to the lack of entertainment. I can only play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe so much until I get mad at Tanooki Mario. (That cheating asshole)

Portal Knights

This was a game that I went into enjoying the trailer then when I got to actually sit down and play the game, I grew bored. Granted, Iā€™m aware this game is in early access but if you canā€™t draw me in now, I mean really? Once this game fully comes out, I will do another review, but hereā€™s my thoughts on it so far.

The idea of this game is youā€™re some hero who goes through portals to various world and you find portal pieces to build new portals and then you go through those and have to find more pieces and itā€™s a never ending story.

There are a few classes you can pick from like Archer and  mage. Literally you find  abse so you can craft items and stuff then you head out into the massive world and farm mobs until you get a higher level and you find those portal pieces and then you go to a tougher world etc.

The concept is there, but I think the execution should have been a bit better. The big bad bosses they show off are easily missed and theyā€™re pretty cool. I remember fighting this worm and had to figure out the mechanics of the fight to kill him but that was about it. Other than that fun experience, it was a normal boring grind where mobs could easily one shot you and then youā€™re back at the start of the map.

Granted, I felt like I was getting stronger, I didnā€™t actually think i was getting anywhere in the story and that was a little upsetting. I didnā€™t want to spend time in not progressing when thatā€™s what I wanted to happen.

So far, I havenā€™t touched the game since I got to about level 16 Iā€™ll be honest with you guys, this game is boring to me. The pure repetitiveness of this game just kills it for me. The portals are unique but a lot of mobs are copy and paste with different colors.

Right now, you can buy into the early access for 11.99 USD. IF you want to give this game a try, go ahead, I will post another review for this game when it fully releases and give my final thoughts on it.

So far, this game is a 5/10. The cool concept is there but I feel like there could be so much more to this game that just needs to be in there like a non locking combat system. An actual story line that isnā€™t a straight up and slash n hack.  Anything like that and I would happily raise the gameā€™s score!!!!

Craft the World

Ever wanted to control dwarves and have them do weird things and listen to cute chatter? Then look no further that Craft the World! This neat little side view game is one of my favorite games of the year!! With that being said, letā€™s get into this!!!!

To me, this is the perfect mix of a few things from Minecraft, Terraria and Dwarves. I really like all of the aspects of this game with regards to the combat styles, the mining and the crafting. I did run into a few bugs, but that didnā€™t stop me from enjoying the game kind of. It was a game breaking bug in a sense but I will get more into that later.

So, here you are, at the starting portal where you are given a couple dwarves to do your bidding. Thatā€™s right, for the most part you are in total control of these people and you can tell them to dig, build eat sleep etc ect. The possibilities are only as limited at wellā€¦.about 5 maybe 6 items. They can be rather dumb and not get the hint the first time, but their cute little banters and language always got me interested and made me want to learn their language so I can hear them talk bad about me. šŸ˜‰ Of course, being the almighty one, I am sure I can dish out a nice plate of whoop ass on them.

So. letā€™s get into some of the aspects of this game, weā€™ll start with the two that kind of work together, and that would be mining/digging and building/crafting. Each can require training and or pure luck they don’t kill themselves. Though itā€™s very much fun to watch some of them struggle with the aspect of a ladder or sometimes even using basic tools, itā€™s more efficient to have a dwarf thatā€™s trained in special abilities to help out when needed. The end game, is literally to craft the best weapons, defeat the waves of undead they send your way, on top of defeating the end boss which is from what Iā€™ve seen very difficult and super skeleton scary. You basically need to find the books which grant your dwarves either levels in a trait, or give them that trait to help you with the end goal, the choice is really yoursā€¦

Now, combat is entirely RNG on top of being super frustrating. I canā€™t tell you how many times I sat there and yelled at my dwarves for being huge scaredy cats for no reason and almost got the base destroyed because they couldnā€™t handle one little zombie. I couldnā€™t even imagine what they would do if they met the end boss with them being scared. Now I know in life itā€™s a literal fight or flight type deal, but when all they do it flight. It gets very annoying. But with that being said, this ties into eating and sleeping. IF there is an enemy in the area, they will stand outside and do nothing but literally complain about being tired and hungry. When you tell them to go eat or sleep they will flat out refuse. Like typical games, when thereā€™s enemies nearby you cannot do certain things.

This is where my beautiful big came in. I was pretty far along in the game when I couldnā€™t get my guys to sleep or eat. It kept telling me there were enemies in my borders but when I would move around and check them, my bordered would be completely empty, not even a rats nest! My poor guys were almost dead and I had another Zombie Wave coming in 4 minutes and there was nothing I could do but watch my poor guys run for their lives and watch the base I worked so hard for get destroyed by these damn undead! I had to restart my game at this point because no matter what I did, I couldnā€™t get it fixed. My new game is totally better and I havenā€™t ran into that problem again so hereā€™s hoping this game is better.

So, I mentioned eating and sleeping. These are both things that you need to keep them up on because they can starve on top of they will not regenerate health. That is something very crucial to this game if you want to survive to the endgame. But thereā€™s nothing you can really make that will do the same thing as food so they have that going for them.

So all in all, I actually rather enjoyed this game minus the fact that I did indeed need to restart my game after spending a few hours on it. I didnā€™t lose THAT much but it was still rough losing all of that hard work for some dumb glitch.

THe game was easy to follow and really explained things to you as you went on your way. I wouldnā€™t say that it held your hand, but it walked you through a lot, then would let you go then would come back. I never felt like I would truly be lost in this game.

I give this game a 7/10 dwarves. Though the game is a nice concept I can only build and fight so many times before it looses itā€™s luster. When you play with other people itā€™s a competition to see who can beat the bad guy first and you canā€™t work together on it. The glitch I experienced was also a little frustration but I got over it quickly when I started fresh.

I recommend this game to anyone who has some free time to kill as you can pause the timer and do other things. Itā€™s most definitely a time killer. But itā€™s fun and thatā€™s all that matters!!

Watch Dogs 2

After the flop of the first game, I was hesitant to get this one. I mean, Iā€™m sure itā€™s obvious.

But, I was pleasantly surprised. 100% surprised with this one and I can say, that I honestly like this game and itā€™s one of my top games.

So letā€™s get it started, youā€™re a guy who was wrongfully accused of a crime. You break into a top secret location, delete yourself then get wasted with a group of hackers who take you in and you do things with them :O

Thatā€™s the story in a nutshell.

You can hack everything.

Literally. You can hack everything and do about anything you want. YOu can take battery life, money cars., You can trigger electrical field, burn, stun kill, blow up drive. The list literally goes on and on with this game!  Your little phone can do anything in this game, but I canā€™t figure out how to make phone calls :O

Welcome to Dedsec.

I mean really. Who doesnā€™t want to be a part of an elite team of hackers who are in it for the good of all mankind? I mean come on. If I was amazing at shit like this, maybe Iā€™d want to join Dedsec. The idea is really cool and the things they do there are really neat. YOu can

Make weapons and RC vehicles

Yes, you read that right. They have a magical 3d printer that you can use to make guns, RC cars and an RC shopper. YOu can also use it to change how the weapons look.

Learn about epic movies.

The biggest thing was watching an epic trailer then stealing the epic movie car and making it your own,. What more can you want?

PvP or Hack

You can hack another player, and I mean have fun with it. Thereā€™s nothing wrong with it.. It was a neat little thing they added into the game and I really liked the missions, trying to find the one whoā€™s hacking your and eliminate them or counter hack them or whatever you want to do. The co-op on this game is also really fun and i think we had more fun punching people to death, then we did actually doing missions. It was fun exploring the city and brought back memories.

So all in all, this game was a great addition to the Watch Dogs games, and for the time being, Ubisoft renewed themselves. But I’m still on edge. Cough Division cough cough

I give this game a 6/10 there were some weird glitches I ran into and itā€™s Ubisoft. I do recommend this game if youā€™re looking to play Watch Dogs since this is 99% better than the first game šŸ™‚

Gears of War 4

The long awaited installment of the Gears of War series is finally here! Omg! šŸ˜€ Iā€™ve been waiting for a redemption. Judgement was a terrible place to end it! UGH!!!!

Alright so, letā€™s get this started!!!

A new story with new foes and new characters really help you immerse yourself into this game. I like the idea of playing J.D but at the same time, it was so great to see Marcus again. The idea is that the locust have returned but seem to be fascinated with kidnapping people from towns and doing whatever with this (turns out they were messing with their DNA or something and making the Swarm BUM BUM BUMMMMM)

Now, the storyline is short but very intense. You play as JD, who left the Cog and with the help of his friends, try to find out why the Swarm is taking their family and other humans. There you run into Marcus again and then a big mess appears and itā€™s just more fun to experience the fun at this point!!

Combat is very straightforward, and you rely on cover to make sure you donā€™t die. The accuracy of the weapons is always great and itā€™s nice to find a bad ass weapons laying around after you slaughter your foes, and thereā€™s nothing bad with a little blood on your boots.

Now, they do add some horde mode esc type deals in the story line as well. You have to set up certain things to help the story a long. A turret here, a barrier there. You are literally only as strong as your weakest link and itā€™s a make or break situation when itā€™s there!!!

The real awesome thing is the Multiplayer modes :O They have added a portable energy station so you can literally pick the best spot possible and that you are READY for the foes who dare threaten your life ecte ect.

Besides Horde Mode, thereā€™s a few new things they added to make the PvP in this game really competitive and really make you work your noggin to be the best (Like no one ever was DUN DUN DUN..To…wait, wrong game)

Now itā€™s also worth noting, there were some issues I ran into while playing. The major one was there were some situations where events didnā€™t trigger which left me to redo a chapter or an  area and it lead to kind of a boring experience. But who knows, maybe itā€™ll get fixed in the future That’d be awesome!!!!

This is a def. 7/10 cogs. Though I really enjoyed the game, the bugs kinda killed the game for a me a little. Now, donā€™t get me wrong. Iā€m going to keep playing it and until i finish all the levels, but the bugs turned me away a little. But itā€™s def.a noteworthy game šŸ˜€

Skyrim Special Edition

This is going to be a short and sweet review.

Literally, Itā€™s Skyrim but prettier. Now, I got it for free since I had it on PC, and my thoughts are the same.

Itā€™s Skyrim, with the DLC and prettier. I really donā€™t feel the need to say more than that. I mean the story line is the same. The game play is the same. The glitches are the same. Itā€™s Skyrim.

I’m aware there are a lot of people who are very pissed off about this, but I have to ask. What did you expect? They never promised it would be a new game. They never said they were ADDING anything. Just it was prettier. SO everyone giving this game a bad review can suck it.

I still and always will give this game 8/10. Some of the bugs make it unplayable/completable but thatā€™s fine! Itā€™s a great remastering of a great series and I just canā€™t get enough of it!!

World of Warcraft: Legion

The next, in my opinion, EPIC AWESOME STELLAR expansion came out for World of Warcraft! Now, I wasnā€™t a big fan of the past two expansions and frankly, I was about to just full on stop playing because I mean, come on. Alternant time time? Whatā€™s up with that bull crap!!!! And going back on the whole ā€œWeā€™ll never make Pandaā€™s a playable race.ā€ PFFFFFFTTTTT!!!!!!!!!

Now, this may be my inner fan girl screaming, but when I saw that Illidan was going to be a part of this expansion I instantly felt the hype. I mean full on 1000000000% was into this expansion. But then, I had to start thinking like an adult. Was this game going to be worth it? Was it another Alternate timeline? What was going to be in this game? There were a lot of questions, that didnā€™t have a lot of answered when this game was revealed.

So, letā€™s get into the story line a little bit. Gulā€™Dan decides he isnā€™t awesome enough and tries to go after Illidan (Squee) and ends up dying or something of that nature. While, the Emerald Dream gets corrupted with the NIghtmare (thatā€™s some Kingdom Hearts shit right there) and of course. Heroes! We need you to save the world and things!!!!

Iā€™m all for this expansion, for quite a few reasons, and have been suggesting this to veterans and new commers a like. The game is great in the fact itā€™s a new area, a new op class as well as new raids. If youā€™re all for the MMO aspect of the game, you may be pleased with the return of players, both new and old and young and gnomes. Bleh, gnomesā€¦.

Anywhoooā€¦.there are so many new things in this game, that itā€™s a little hard to actually talk into detail about every single thing, but Iā€™m going to start with the fanciest of the things.

Artifact weapons. Now, I know what youā€™re saying. Look, LIly. I get it. Itā€™s the all mighty weapon that Iā€™ll use for a few levels then Iā€™ll get rid of it for this epic lootz that drops from this boss.

Nope. The artifact weapon is literally only as good as the time you put into it. You get Artifact power and runes that empower them and give you special perks. The best part about these weapons is that they each have a neat little background story that helps tie them into lore. Though some of them are fatfetched. A lore master like myself, can appreciate them a little bit and I was excited to learn about the new pieces.

Demon hunters are now a thing. You fought one back in Burning Crusade. But now, you ar eable to play them and be a tank or DPS. Now, I know what a lot of people thought, itā€™s another DK scandal. To be honest. Yes. There are a lot of people who are playing Demon hunter. Yes, they are a little OP and can do a lot of shit solo. But, at the very same time. For the moment being, itā€™s pretty neat being an acrolyte for Illidan and helping stop the legion from pouring into the world untilā€¦..*the next is spoiilers so I wont talk about them* (edit, since legion has been out for awhile I will add that you get captured by the wardens only to be released to help save the world and you get to prove your worth to the world)

Class halls/Order Halls

So this is a literal copy and paste from the Garrison in WoD. After they promised us it wouldnā€™t be. I do feel a little lied to with this. I mean come on. I donā€™t want to do this shit! The only way to make your weapon epic…Class hall shit. Only way to get certain quests you need: Class hall shit. Come on Blizz. Is this really something you wanted? Like really.

To not fly in this game…is terrible. The landscape is so beautiful! I canā€™t believe I literally cannot enjoy it by flying! I mean this is my major complaint every single expansion, but itā€™s so easy to hit a hot key, turn into a bird and fly away to get the next quest ect ect. But I guess as long as they add it soon I can be ok with this. Plus, Flap is a thing. Google that. Balance Druid: Flap.

New lands, new NPC, new raids.

This is going to be a neat thing to talk about because I am actually happy to see some of the old lore play out. My favorite thing is that they have Odyn and Helya and Fenrir and all of that awesome stuff into this area. They play real heavy with the lore that is in the main lands and such and itā€™s nice!

No more Yrel! Thank GOD on this one, I mean like seriously. I couldn’t be happier. I skipped and jumped when I left my garrison only to return for my pet balttle things because of my collection addiction šŸ˜‰

But really. I am OK with this expansion. A little sad I havenā€™t seen Illidan yet, but thatā€™s OK. Iā€™m sure heā€™ll appear…for now itā€™s OK.

My heart, does go out to the Anduin. Iā€™ve never really wanted to actually hug any NPC before. Like really mean it. But him. I really needed to. *I wont go into details since this game just came out* (Edit: yeah well…It still hurts to talk about it :?)

All in all, this is one of my favorite expansions besides The Burning Crusade. Iā€™m happy with it and canā€™t wait to see what direction Blizzard takes it!

Legion getā€™s a solid 9/10 Demon Souls
